Air Quality Sensor

The BME688 is an optional add-on for the E1 Pro. Only one air quality sensor can be installed, allowing a choice between the BME688 multi-parameter sensor or a dedicated true CO₂ sensor such as the SCD40.

The BME688 monitors IAQ, eVOC, eCO₂, temperature, humidity, pressure and gas resistance, providing a broad view of indoor air quality. CO₂ levels are estimated from VOC activity, offering useful insight into trends and ventilation effectiveness rather than direct measurement.

Ideal for users who want comprehensive air quality awareness and additional environmental data, while precise CO₂ measurement is better served by the SCD40 add-on.
